As Talent Development Director, Chris focuses on driving our growth by developing our people. This means he hires the best talent before onboarding and training them to ultimately become outstanding Deverell Smith recruitment consultants.

In his own words Chris describes his progression at Deverell Smith and his role as our Talent Development Director.

“I joined Deverell Smith in October 2011 after my best friend recommended I join. Since then I have progressed through every role in the company from Junior Consultant to Director and am now a shareholder in the business. I have run some of Deverell Smith’s most successful teams and placed some of the leading figures in the Residential Management world.”

“I now oversee all of our internal recruitment, training and coaching, working closely with our people as they progress through their careers at Deverell Smith. 

From our comprehensive training academy for all new starters, to our weekly refresher courses and 1-to-1 coaching sessions, we provide extensive support to our employees, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to become successful recruiters and provide a competitive advantage to everyone with whom they work with.
