Learning, training and development…
We offer an intricate training and coaching scheme within our Data and Research department for those who have little to no experience in recruitment which gives you the tools to become an established and high performing recruiter.
The training and coaching scheme is run on a modular basis and moves at the pace of the individual. You can expect a minimum of four months high quality, at desk, 1-2-1 and classroom training where we give you exposure across the entire company and our expanding portfolio of products before agreeing the market that best suits your personality and skills. This means that when you graduate to your market you’ll be ready to make an immediate impact.
Whether you have one month of recruitment experience or ten years, we promise that you will improve as a result of working at deverellsmith.

It’s not all about personal gains at deverellsmith, we host events throughout the year which are dedicated to giving back, working closely with a number of charities. We’ve taken part in smaller activities such as bucket collecting for The Silverline UK to company-wide activity days such as 2019’s Halloween day of ghoulish games in support of Whitechapel Mission.

To align with our own footprint, we host industry leading events such as the ‘Ladies in Real Estate 50/50 brunch’ which raised awareness of gender inequality within the industry and we also attend industry conferences, awards and exhibitions across the country.
As well as hosting and attending external events, internal events are held on a regular occasion including a quarterly team social activity of their choice.

We know that reward is important and that is why we pay no less than 33% and up to 60% of what you bill however we also believe that how much you earn should never be solely linked to how much money you deliver personally.
So what does this mean? Well, a lot of recruitment firms talk to you about creating a positive working culture we believe we are the first to reward you for helping deliver one. It is that important to us we have created a second reward scheme paid annually and based on your customers and colleagues experience of working with you. Very simply if you are providing a brilliant service to customers and live and breathe our values you can expect to get paid significantly more money. No strings attached just our way of highlighting that having right behaviours is as important as being having the biggest billers.
As you progress through our people or client account manager routes you can also expect to get rewarded on either the profit your team delivers or the book of the business you look after with your key accounts.
