Every year, we recognise the outstanding performance and achievements of our employees. We believe that brains, like hearts, go where they are appreciated, and our awards help to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work, dedication, and contributions of our people.
We not only celebrated our employee’s accomplishments but also those of our overall business, reflecting on those we have made over the last 12 months, as well as the exciting things to come.
Within the last year, deverellsmith has:
- Made significant investments into the deverellsmith executive search division, tripling the team in size.
- Hosted our fifth and sixth editions of Banking on the Future in partnership with the Bank of England, industry-leading organisations such as The Instant Group, Knight Frank Finance and Way of Life.
- Launched Hintel, our Recruitment Process Outsourcing function to further drive innovation and evolution surrounding talent in property.
- Made our first corporate acquisition of the fantastic Broomham Recruitment.
- Donated over 100 hours of volunteering time with the Whitechapel Mission to prevent homelessness within London and raised over £3,000 for charities including London Youth and the Turkey and Syria earthquake cause.

Florrie Widgery – Recruitment Consultant, Estate Agency
Florrie had an exceptional start to her career at deverellsmith. After Florrie only joined us just under a year ago, after working as an Estate Agent, she has already made her way to the 4th position on the total billings company leaderboard and has made a massive impact on her team.

Alice Murray – Principal Consultant, New Homes Contract
Alice joined us just over a year ago on our New Homes contract team and wasted no time smashing her targets. Alice has had a varied career after being an actress for 5 years and working in property, she has developed and grown at a speed like no other and has been promoted twice in her short time at deverellsmith, most recently to Principal Consultant.

Ryan Doyle – Manager, Estate Agency
Ryan has shown a huge amount of professional growth over the last year after recently being promoted to Manager. Not only has he grown professionally, but he has also made a big impact on the culture at deverellsmith, taking on the role of our Mental Health and Wellbeing Ambassador. He has organised well-being activities such as puppy yoga and free spin classes as well as implementing our free online therapy app Plumm, available to all employees.

Laura Croggon – Marketing and Communications Manager
Laura is the definition of deverellsmith’s USP. She drives our marketing strategy, helping us reach our goal of being 10% different. She single handily re-branded the way we do marketing and has helped us build long and trusting relationships with our clients and candidates. Our brand sets us apart and Laura is the driving force behind it.

With a productivity of £19k per head and an average fee of £8k, there is no doubt they work extremely hard to take hold of the opportunities the market offers.

After asking Andrew Deverell-Smith (Founder and CEO of deverellsmith and Hintel) if he could head up the Build to Rent team, he has shown himself to be a great leader and supported all of the members in the Build to Rent team to become the market-leading team it is today.
